When I look back at my travel blog posts from 2013, 2014, 2015... I shake my head. Not in shame, but in regret for not taking my status as a hobby blogger to a professional blogger sooner. At the time, blogging as a business was still beyond my imagination of what could be.
I started my first affiliate blog in 2015 and slowly, through trial and error, I learned how to navigate this new and wild online universe. The realization then finally *hit* me a couple of years later, after living in Asia and Europe for a while, to pursue travel blogging and turn it into my full-time job.
I finally took the "if only I had started sooner" mindset I was accustomed to and applied it to my future self in ten years' time. Did I want to be saying the same thing? No, I didn't. The question is... Do you??
